New Terra line of shoes designed to take care of the planet

We live in an phase in which we continually learn,
always with the aim
of offering better products and services, while respecting the environment. The
International Day of Mother Earth was recently celebrated, a day in which we
try to raise awareness about the importance of caring for her, and where it is
shown that the small actions of all can help us to enjoy it in a more sustainable
way.
This year, more than ever, is about paying tribute to our
habitat and recognizing the Earth as our home, which we must therefore take
care of. The movements of the last decades have cemented a path in which the
social conscience, appreciation and responsibility of the citizens of the world
have developed. In 2020, the global crisis of COVID-19 has only exposed with
greater urgency the social and economic imbalances of the system, as well as
more starkly the impact of human activity in reality. However, it also brought
hope, compassion and gratitude, in addition to the recognition of the need for
a new social and environmental contract. With respect, dignity and confidence
we face this period full of opportunities to which Lottusse has much to contribute,
Terra de Lottusse, an embrace of nature
Lottusse presents a very important and special collection
called Terra, which is inspired by and vindicates the richness that nature
offers us, inviting us never to take it for granted.
The company of Mallorcan origin is experimenting here
with a more sustainable and forward-thinking production method.
For this they choose
leather, a material of use and proximity, worked in a traditional way to create
handmade shoes within this range. The strong point of this raw material is also
its completely biodegradable nature. In fact, enriching the substrate through
decomposition, so that in a very graphic way we can relive the lives of these
fellow travelers by burying them. Over the years, the skin would decompose,
giving rise to a new phase in the life cycle.
The sole on which Terra de Lottusse shoes walk is also
intimately linked to the natural environment.
Rubber trees grow in the jungle, from where, through small
incisions in the bark, a resin known as rubber milk is extracted. This sap of
consistency similar to that of milk solidifies resulting in a rubber material
that is used in the soles of this collection. In addition, mini bubbles are
formed during the process that provide great comfort and durability.
Lottusse is becoming an important player in this new fashion
culture, focusing on sustainable products, created in communion with the
environment and produced locally, which claims the trust of an ancestral
experience.
